Quick Details:

E309L-16 is a kind of ultra-low-carbon Cr23Ni13 stainless steel electrode with lime-titania type coating.AC/DC. Due to the low carbon content, it can still resist intercrystalline corrosion led to carbide precipitation without any stabilizers like Nb, Ti, etc.

Application:

Used for stainless steel structures of the same types, composite steel, dissimilar steel, etc.In the production of equipment of synthetic fiber, petrochemical industry, etc., and also used for surfacing welding on nuclear reactors and transition layers of pressure vessel inner surfaces and welding inner parts of synthesis towers

Instruction:

1. The oil stains and rust on the welding should be cleared away.

2. Pls use stainless steel brush cleaning bead to avoid iron mind-affecting weld quality.

3. Pls Dry for 60 minutes at 300-350℃ before welding.

4. Take out a small quantity into a 100-150℃ drying cylinder, when operating.

5. Do not carry electrodes over half-day using quantities.

6.When swinging the electrode, the swing width should be within 2.5 times the electrode diameter.

7. Try to keep a short arc and low current, in order to reduce creasing and improve toughness.
